Muma's & Buba's Ballet (15 months +) For our littlest dancers, our Muma's & Buba's ballet classes are designed for children from 15 months old to enjoy ballet with their parent or caregiver. Our experienced teachers will guide you and your little one through fun and engaging activities that promote coordination, balance, and creativity. Pre-School Ballet (2.5+) For our little but more independent dancers, our Pre-School ballet class is the perfect introduction for toddlers to leap into the world of dance.  This ballet class is designed for children ages 2-4 and introduces them to the basics of ballet in a fun and creative way. Through imaginative play and music, children will learn coordination, balance, and flexibility while developing a love for dance.  to introduce young children to the joy of ballet. This class focuses on developing basic motor skills, coordination, rhythm, and musicality through fun and imaginative activities.

Pre-Primary in Dance (Ages 3.5+) Our Pre-Primary ballet class is the next step for young dancers, building on the skills learned in Pre-School ballet and introducing more formal ballet technique. Children will learn basic ballet positions and movements basic ballet positions, movements, and terminology in a playful and nurturing environment. Continuing to develop their love of dance and further developing basic motor skills, coordination, rhythm, and musicality through fun and imaginative activities.

Primary in Dance (Ages 5+) The Primary in Dance class builds on the foundations established in Pre-Primary. Students will continue to develop their ballet technique, focusing on posture, alignment, and basic ballet vocabulary. This class encourages creativity and self-expression while introducing more structured dance exercises. From 6 years old students can enter for their first ballet exam.

Grade 1 Ballet (7+) Grade 1 Ballet introduces students to more formal ballet training. Emphasis is placed on developing technique, musicality, and performance skills. Students will learn and perform set exercises and dances, preparing them for their ballet exam and future training.

Grade 2 Ballet (Ages 8+) Grade 2 Ballet continues to build on the skills learned in Grade 1. Students will work on more complex movements including barre work and centre practice and combinations, further developing their strength, flexibility, and artistry. This level introduces new ballet terminology and steps, enhancing the students’ technical proficiency and confidence.

Grade 3 Ballet (Ages 9+) In Grade 3 Ballet, students will advance their technique and understanding of ballet principles. This level focuses on refining movement quality, developing a greater sense of performance, and building stamina. Students will learn more challenging choreography and exercises, preparing them for higher levels of ballet training.

Taking two ballet lessons per week from Grade 3 and above is highly recommended for students who want to take exams and excel in their training. By taking two lessons per week, students can meet the RAD learning hours and have additional independent practise time to perfect their technique and improve their overall performance.

Grade 4 Ballet (Ages 10+) Grade 4 Ballet introduces students to more advanced ballet techniques and combinations. This class emphasises precision, control, and expressive movement. Students will continue to expand their ballet vocabulary and work on more intricate choreography, fostering a deeper understanding of ballet as an art form.

Grade 5 Ballet (Ages 11+) In Grade 5 Ballet, students will further refine their technical skills and artistic expression. This level focuses on complex movements, dynamic performance, and preparation for pointe work. Students will work on enhancing their strength, flexibility, and overall ballet technique, preparing them for advanced levels and vocational training.

Grade 8 Ballet (Ages 14+) Grade 8 ballet class is designed for advanced ballet students who have mastered techniques of classical ballet. Intermediate Foundation (Ages11+) The Intermediate Foundation class marks the beginning of the RAD vocational graded examinations. This class focuses on developing a solid technical foundation, strength, and precision. Students will work on more complex movements and combinations, including preparatory pointe work.
