At Dani Grant School of Dance, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members of our dance community. Our Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behavior and expectations that apply to students, parents, guardians, instructors, and staff. By adhering to these principles, we create a positive and enriching experience for everyone involved.

For Students:
1. Respect and Kindness: Treat fellow students, instructors, and staff with respect, kindness, and consideration at all times.
2. Commitment: Attend classes punctually, prepared, and ready to learn. Dedication to regular practice is essential for personal growth.
3. Appropriate Attire: Wear appropriate dance attire and footwear for classes, maintaining a clean and presentable appearance.
4. Safety First: Follow instructions from instructors regarding techniques and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and others.
5. Positive Attitude: Embrace challenges with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, accepting constructive feedback with grace.
6. Team Spirit: Foster a supportive atmosphere by encouraging and uplifting your fellow dancers. Collaboration enhances the dance experience for everyone.
For Parents/Guardians:
1. Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with instructors and staff regarding your child's progress, concerns, and any relevant information.
2. Timeliness: Ensure that your child arrives on time for classes and events, allowing them to fully participate and engage.
3. Encouragement: Support and encourage your child's dance journey while respecting their choices and aspirations.
4. Respect Boundaries: Respect the professional boundaries between instructors and students, allowing for a positive and focused learning environment.
For Instructors and Staff:
1. Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude in all interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
2. Safety and Well-being: Prioritise the safety and well-being of students, providing clear instructions and promoting a nurturing environment.
3. Equal Treatment: Treat all students with fairness and without favoritism, valuing each individual's unique strengths and contributions.

4. Effective Communication: Maintain clear and respectful communication with students, parents, and colleagues, addressing concerns promptly and appropriately.

5. Continuous Improvement: Strive for continuous personal and professional growth to provide the best possible dance education.
Consequences of Violations:
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary actions, including verbal warnings, probation, suspension, or expulsion from Dani Grant School of Dance. Serious violations that compromise the safety or well-being of any individual may result in immediate expulsion.
By adhering to this Code of Conduct, we collectively create an environment where dance flourishes and everyone can pursue their passion with joy, respect, and mutual support.
